    Sorry mate, it is never easy.

    Remember the trust he had, and the uncondirional love.

    You had a duty, but there are times when doing the right thing is almost too hard. The only thing harder would be not caring for your mate or even worse farming the job out to someone else who wouldnt, couldnt do the job as well as you did. He went out happy, and still loving the one who loved him.

    Remember on the other side you will have a friend waiting, and you can count on the fact that he will stand by you, thick or thin, hard or easy, if you go up or down.

    In australia we call them mates, more than friends, often closer than family.

    Remember your mates, even in death.

    I’m glad we had some time to spend together through the past few years. Hershey was a welcome part of those times. At this time I lack for words but Paul could not have said what was on my heart better….See you in the wind sometime Dragon…we have miles to go before we sleep….Beav.

    Sorry to hear about Hershey. I have been down the same road and it’s never easy. I beleive we all meet up with our “freinds” in time, that is why we never forget. Take care and heal.

    For what it’s worth, I still can not get the phrase “tractor mode” out of my mind..

    Hershey’s memory will live on for a long time, it seems. :)
