I’m off for another weekend of riding. Headed to meet friends in Jacksonville, Texas. Some eating, riding, and bs’ing are all on the menu.
There are stories out there. I’m in hot pursuit!

This morning’s commute was more exciting than most. Oh, there’s always some bonehead that’s too distracted, under the unfluence, or too sleepy to bother to actually drive the car they’re in, but today was worse than normal.

I’m not selling…I’m bragging…
I just finished a book project for a college…their student produced art book for the year.
I designed the cover, formatted the entire book, and got it printed/bound/delivered/etc.
I had fun!

I was quite surprised to receive more than a few emails

aaaaannnnnddd I’m back!
Ran something like 2400 miles this weekend. Hours and hours alone on the highways.
The run began into the lonely darkness of an unseasonably cold night.
As always, there were close calls. As always, as time wore on there were things not easy to explain encountered.

I’m leaving Thursday night for Cheaha Mountain in Alabama. Why? Well, it involves a long night-run, some ‘wings and burgers at a lunch place 100 miles out of our way, meeting old and new friends, swapping stories, and in general, just several thousand miles of riding.
