Shine On Brad.
Tuesday, November 6th, 2007Said goodbye to my cousin Brad this weekend. Yet another memorial service. That’s way too many in recent months.
Brad passed away with little warning due to brain cancer, and was just a couple years older than I am. He leaves behind a teenage daughter as well as his extended family and friends.
Brad was dynamic and positive, a doer and shaker, and a good human being. He’ll be missed, and the world is just a little bit darker this week.
Shine on Brad. Shine on.
We’re just living with the hope
Only love can save us now.
Cross that river to the shore
With no-one else around
See those angels on the air
Smiling faces never show
With a joy you can’t compare
Watch the daylight come and go…
Shine on.
Life’s short folks.
