Pushin’ up the grades in the DISD
Friday, February 1st, 2008Ah yes. Edumacation. Heh. Sheesh.
Yesterday the Dallas Independent School District upheld their policy that makes a 50% the minimum grade.
Should a student not even turn in any work, they still earn a 50% grade on that assignment/test/project.
50% for NO effort. Half credit for zero work.
Yeah, that’ll prepare them for life.
And still, they (the “leadership” in this and other cities) wonder why we have so little respect for them.
Oh, but of course…they must be products of this same system.
What a terrible, terrible waste.
