road runner

Well, did the big change from Comcast to Road runner... Comcast was okay for th emost part, had a few problems, was always get in touch with somebody and manage to get it worked out. But Time warner? Egad... starting last week I've been having to reset my modem constantly and sometimes it only lasts one or two minutes. But... try to get a hold of them...call the "24 hour" service number on the bill and it's busy all the time. I sat and called repeatedly for an hour yesterday and never got through. Trying to find a contact on their website is tricky too. Since I can only get on line at work I can't get to everything because of the blocking software they use. Grrrrrr I finally managed to get to a contact page, but who knows when they'll get back. Of course, they ask me to put in my e-mail address...lotta good that will do. If I could get on line long enough to check my e-mail then I wouldn't be contacting them.

Yeah...they changed us unannounced...by locking us out of our comcast accounts...and then sending an email to that account telling us how to switch to rr.com

Verizon is ... as we speak... digging massive holes in my front yard as they use that sideways drill thing to push new fiber throughout the neighborhood...for some reason it's my yard they have to dig up (one of the holes is 7 feet deep).

Wish they hadn't cut the water-line though... :(

Maybe I'll have Verizon's fiber service soon...of course it may be hooked to the plumbing...

Other than the usual trenching mishaps, Verizon's fiber service is EXTREMELY shiny.  TV, phone, and internet for less than most people pay for cable+internet.

I am on pins and needles waiting for it to come here.
