Good Morning I am new to this forum and would like some advise on putting a car tire on my Sportster/Nightser that I have converted into a trike kit.  It has 13" trailer tires on the trike kit and I would like to put a car tire on the back of my Nightser.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks  Dragonfly

I don't have any solid info on size etc for your particular machine.

One good place to check is here:

If anybody knows it's them.

DF, the sportsters are stock fitted with 150/16 dunlops in the rear. The rear wheel is only 3 - 3.5" wide. I dont think they make any car tires that narrow anymore.? You might find a 180 series x 16" tire that might squeeze down that narrow.. look at www.tirerack.com for size info any any tire you select. they give min and max rim widths.

as for your 13" trailer tires(?) I hafta think you are refering to side style-training wheels and not trike wheels.? trailer tires are not fit for acceleration loads, at best they are good for just... trailering along.
