Windshields and lowers
« on: April 06, 2010, 08:58:40 AM »

I'm in the process of buying the bike of my dreams, a 1998 Valkyrie tourer.

She comes without a windscreen, and I know from experience with my current ride that I really want one, and probably either lowers or a set of baker air wings.

But which?   Feedback appreciated.

Congrats on the upcoming Valk!

I run a Memphis Shades windshield...works great...IMHO there are better looking ones though.

The fork lowers/deflectors are a MUST...most of the turburlance on the valk comes right up the side of the tank. The deflectors take care of this very nicely.

Any suggestions on brands for fork lowers?
