98 Valk Front End Teardown

Hey all,

Going to have to put a new tire on the front and noticed Fork Tube Seals leaking.  They want over $300 to tear it down and replace the seals?  Thinking about doing it myself, anything I need to watch for?  Have not tore into the front end or forks before.   Appreciate any info.....

Jheeez...sorry I didn't see this topic when it was timely.

Not much to watch for. The Valk front end is beefy but pretty straightforward.

$300 is a bit high for a standard/tourer...probably about right for an interstate

It's also very doable if you have access to the fork tool.
