Reflections 2007 Project

A project I worked on and had fun with lately:
Reflections is a student produced publication of Lon Morris College. Storm Rider Press (that's me) provided formatting and printing assistance for the 2007 edition. Essentially we raised the bar this year. Previous year's issues were done on the copier and saddle-stapled.
This issue is a book...full-color, glossy, heavy stock cover...and perfect-bound. I have the proofs in my hand...It looks really good!
I designed the cover with their text, art, and input, and formatted the book block for correct printing.

Remember, this is a wrap around cover...so as seen here the front cover is the right half, the back cover is the left half.

I also created a full-color/glossy "promo" postcard that they could pass around to announce the book and to provide information about re-orders/etc. The "Promo" postcard preview:

The book printed for distribution at the college is 72 pages, 7.5" x 7.5", full-color, glossy cover, and b&w interior pages.
Two-hundred were printed for the college, and parents/students/etc that want extras or the full-color version can order them from my storefront. There is also a free digital download, AND they can preview the complete book from the storefront site.
Much of the art provided was in color, so for the heck of it I also created a full-color version of the book...72 pages, 7.5" x 7.5" with a full-color glossy cover AND full-color pages on bright white stock. Full-color books are expensive, so folks that want the color version have to order it for themselves.
